About  the speaker:

Professor  Castillo Vidal received his  PH.D degree in computer science from the University of  Granada in 1998. He was an associate professor at the University of Granada from  1993 to 2001. He currently teaches at the computer engineering  faculty (E.T.S.  de Ingeniería Informática) of the  University  of Granada. He is  member of the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence  (DECSAI), the Intelligent System Research Group (ISG, TIC-175), the Artificial  Intelligence Planning System Working Group (SEPIA), as well as the European  Network of Excellence in AI Planning (PLANET) and the Spanish Association for  Artificial Intelligence (AEPIA). The main research area of  prof. Castillo Vidal includes AI Planning, Scheduling and Temporal  Reasoning.
