Short  biography:

Since  2001 Prof. Hubert Roth is Head of the Institute of Automatic  Control Engineering in the Faculty of Electrical  Engineering at the University of Siegen, Germany. Concurrently, he is a Vice  Chair in the Centre for Sensor Systems and Vice-Director of the Centre for  International Capacity Development (CICD) at the University of Siegen. He published more than 170  reviewed contributions in international journals and at international  conferences. He was invited to more than 25 international programme committees  at scientific conferences.

His  main interests in education and research are in the fields of control theory,  robotics, mechatronics and attitude control for air and space applications.  Prof. Roth managed and inspired multiple national and international research  projects in the areas Autonomous Mobile Robots, Space Systems and Medical  Robotics.
